Karin Lundström

KarinLundstromKarin Lundström is a textile designer based in Umea, Sweden. She designs and sews garments in flax working with stitches, cloth and wire in a variety of ways. We are, however, most excited about her contemporary embroidery work on paper exhibited last year. Many of the designs from this show can be seen here on Instagram. Monolog

MonologFound these intricate beaded and embroidered brooches on Japanese handmade market website, Iichi. We don’t know who the creator is but the jewelry are sold under the brand Monolog. They are made with glass beads and cotton embroidery thread on felt. You can follow monolog on Tumblr and Instagram.
