Kurogoma

Kurogoma KurogomaLove these Nordic inspired jewelry patterns created by and sold under the brand name, Kurogoma.  Not exactly sure of the process but the material is listed as plastic and coated with resin. Each piece is then made into earrings, rings and brooches. Her shop is located here on Japanese handmade market, Minne, and you can also follow her on Twitter.

Kolme

Kolme
Kolme in Finnish means “3”. This Japanese jewelry atelier/brand was founded by three designers who met at a metal engraving school. After graduating and having gone their separate ways they met again to form Kolme jewelry. My fondness for type, of course, drew me to those alphabet earrings.
