London-based ceramist, Hitomi Hosono, has studied porcelain work in both the Japanese and European traditions. Her current collection is inspired by leaves and flowers, of which, she says: “I find myself drawn to the intricacy of plants, examining the veins of a leaf, how its edges are shaped, the layering of a flower’s petals. I look, I touch, I draw.”

Danish artists, Trine Galschiøt and Anette Nørmark, are the amazing talents behind the brand, Arttiles. They have created these fantastic tiles in ceramics as well as canvas many of which are hand painted, hand printed and signed. You can mix and match designs from their collection to create your own decorative collages around the house.

Wouldn’t mind owning a few of these ceramic quote tags created by Brisbane-based ceramist, Kylie Johnson. In 1996 she established her studio, Paper Boat Press, creating items which combined her love of ceramics and words. Her pieces can be purchased in her shop here on Big Cartel.
