La Fidelia

Admiring the tea packaging and branding of La Fidelia.   The tea is an artisan and natural product made with Peruvian flowers and fruits, which is the inspiration for the design.  The illustration, branding and packaging is a collaborative effort of designer and illustrator
Carla Eráusquin Bayona and Paloma Nieri.

Morozoff

Often we purchase items not necessarily for the product inside but for the packaging.  A sample of these are the packages for the “Lycka Till” line of  chocolate from Morozoff confectioner of Kobe, Japan.  Morozoff is well known in Japan as the company that first introduced Valentines Day to the nation.  Really liking the Scandinavian designs on these products so we just had to post.

You can learn more about the company on their website, Facebook and Instagram.

Karen O’Neil

Woodstock-based painter Karen O’Neil grew up in an artistic family learning to paint light from her brother James. Her still life paintings of glassware, china and fruits has an airy quality showing an artist fascinated by transparency and reflection. She says this about still life on ASLinea.org:

“My fascination with still life began in art school.  It’s about the pure joy of seeing – the monumental and profound in our everyday visual experiences.”

The artist can be found on her website and on Facebook.
