Gosia Herba

We will probably take a look at the works of Polish illustrator, Gosia Herba, again but today we start with her sketches.  The graphic designer and comic artist lives in Wroclaw, a city in southwest Poland.  She is influenced by 10th century modern art, Picasso and Matisse which are evident in much of her compositions.

You can see more of her work on her website, Instagram and Behance.  Some of her prints can be purchased in her Etsy shop.

In her journals the artist uses a variety of techniques and shows extraordinary humor and incredible drawings. Her sketches exhibit a strong awareness of typography, calligraphy and layout.
