Andie’s Specialty Sweets

Andie'sSpecialtySweetsDon’t often post anything food related but couldn’t resist this Etsy shop, Andie’s Specialty Sweets. Proprietors Andie and Jason Moore of Dallas, Texas create made-to-order confections that can be used to embellish cakes and other baked goods. Here’s how the culinary artisans describe their work:

“We specialize in creating made-to-order artistic and thematic confections to suit your whim and occasion. Everything here is is hand sculpted, hand molded, hand poured, and given a special artistic tinkering, the old fashioned way.”

The Deli Garage

The-Deli-GarageThis food coloring makes for a great presentation but not sure how we would react palate-wise. Found the spray can coloring on the German food cooperative, The Deli Garage. The finishes come in gold, silver, red and blue. They are completely harmless to eat and are flavorless with no food dyes nor ethanol. Not available to U.S. market as yet maybe awaiting FDA approval. Incidentally, you can follow The Deli Garage on Facebook as well.
