AlisonMoritsuguHawaii-born artist Alison Moritsugu uses log segments as canvas for these idealized landscape paintings. The salvaged wood used for her “log-series” are found timber that would otherwise be turned to mulch. Her work acknowledges our complicated and delicate relationship with the environment.
