Jose Heroys

Jose Heroys is a fiber artist who makes bird sculptures and fiber art in her Sussex studio. The inspiration for her work comes from a life-long love of birds, nature, and wildlife. Each piece is made by hand using a mixture of crochet, needle-felt and her own invented techniques. The birds are made from wool yarn, fleece and natural fibers with each bird wearing individually numbered metal leg rings.

Tuija Heikkinen

Tuija Heikkinen is a textile designer and Arts and Crafts teacher from Rovaniemi, Finland. She crochets individual elements and arranges them into these very appealing compositions. The fibre artist is also proficient in sewing, knitting and embroidery examples of which can be seen on her Instagram account.

Ágnes Herczeg

These incredible lace art with wood are the works of Hungarian textile artist, Ágnes Herczeg, who captures female figures in moments of contemplation or work. The artist studied textile conservation at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts and has extensively studied the craft of embroidery and lace-making. Currently she is focused on wall sculptures to be utilized in classical and modern interior design.
