Admiring the new logo emblem for the Tokyo Olympics 2020 recently unveiled on Friday, July 24th. The brand identity was designed by Japanese designer Kenjiro Sano, founder of MR_DESIGN Inc. The design has had some controversy but we love the minimalist geometric shapes, the patterns the shapes create and the sophisticated color palette.

Wish we had more bare walls in our studio so we can put up some of these prints, particularly the “We Love Graphic Design” print. They are the creations of Hvass & Hannibal, a multi-disciplinary arts and design studio based in Copenhagen. Some of these prints are available here in their shop at Big Cartel.
