Vicki Turner

Vicki Turner is a British designer, illustrator, maker and surfer with a passion and curiosity for the natural world. She strives for simplicity and balance in her work, layering crisp edged forms with hand made textures. She has collaborated with big name clients as well as many non-profit orgainizations. On the Cooler Lifestyle blog we get an insight into the artist:

I’m rooted to instinct. It’s been my guide and taken me on many adventures. Costa Rica was the most awe inspiring place I’ve ever had the luck to visit. Walking through rainforests with toucans, hummingbirds, howler monkeys and giant centipedes for company. An unforgettable place. A close second, was Indonesia, where I got to ride my first wave and volunteer with the charity FNPF. They successfully brought the Bali Starling back from the brink of extinction. I think I learned more there, than anywhere.”

And on the blog Tendr Stories she says this:

“Many things inspire me, yet Yvon Chouinard of Patagonia is a legend in my eyes. A humble and honest man who has proved that business can be a great force for good. His efforts and achievements simply blow me away. If only there were more people like Yvon. And extraordinary businesses like Patagonia.”
