Moody Green Embroidery

Loving these floral monogram embroidery created by Moody Green Embroidery.  There’s very little information on the maker, Sanita, but we do know that she is from Riga, Latvia.  She creates other delicate designs besides the monograms shown above.

You can follow the creator on Facebook and Instagram.  Some of her items can be purchased in her Etsy shop, Moody Green.

Ail + El

Aileen Balfe is the homeware designer of Ail + El in Dublin.  She made her first concrete pots for succulent plants in 2013 and started to sell them at craft fairs.  In 2014 she made it her official business along with her friend, Eleanor McCaughey.  Her partner’s background is fine art and has since concentrated on painting leaving Aileen to continue to run the business alone.  On Garden of Poets she say this about her inspiration:

“I like to seek out inspiration from wandering around Dublin. I like to look at contemporary architecture, graffiti, and street art. I’m also a big fan of Pinterest!”

You can follow this contemporary Irish homeware brand on their website, Facebook and Instagram.

Stephanie Sloan

Stephanie Sloan is an illustrator and printmaker based in Co. Wicklow, Ireland.  She graduated from the Royal College of Art in London and the National College of Art and Design in Dublin.   We love her minimalist illustrative style as she explores depth, light, texture and pattern. She combines her passion for the craft of screen printing with hand drawn and digital  techniques: “I embrace the combination of technology with drawing and the organic process of printmaking, allowing the work to develop at each stage of the process.”

More of her work can be viewed on her website, Facebook and Instagram.
