Nocogou

NocogouFound these great fabric designs on Japanese handmade site, Minne. They are sold under the brand name, Nocogou, and are the creations of a husband and wife team from Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The designs are created by the husband and the wife is responsible for sewing the cloth goods. The fabrics are hand printed in their studio using the screen printing method, all of which require an enormous labor of love.  Their products can be purchased here at Minne and here at their online shop.

Eiko Ojala

EikoOjalaWhat initially attracted us to the work of Estonian illustrator and graphic designer, Eiko Ojala, was the remake of the 18th century wallpaper for Musée du Papier Peint. The artist is a noted specialist of a recently developed art style, digital paper cut illustration. The artwork seems to be created with meticulously cut paper but is in fact a sophisticated digital illustration. The original artwork are all drawn by hand and digitally manipulated without the aid of any 3D software. You can see more of his work here on Behance and you can purchase a few of his prints here on Saatchi Art.
