In the Daylight

InTheDaylightIn the Daylight is a line of stationery items created by a husband and wife team from Brisbane, Australia. Jessie Mills creates the hand illustrated designs and lettering while her husband Rick plays a supporting role in management and production. You can follow them on their website and here on Facebook. He has collaborated with experienced craftsmen employing their experience, skills and technology to produce products that combine traditional technique with contemporary styling.

Alison Moritsugu

AlisonMoritsuguHawaii-born artist Alison Moritsugu uses log segments as canvas for these idealized landscape paintings. The salvaged wood used for her “log-series” are found timber that would otherwise be turned to mulch. Her work acknowledges our complicated and delicate relationship with the environment.
