Claire Sounes Stitch

ClaireSounesWe always try to make our gift packages special so we thought of trying to make fabric hang tags. The ones pictured above were created by UK-based artist, Claire Sounes, who writes on her Etsy profile:

“I love designing and making items by hand. I like using traditional British fabrics especially Liberty Tana Lawn combined with linen and vintage buttons.”

You can purchase her designs here on Etsy under the brand, Clair Sounes Stitch and also here on Folksy under the shop name, Tokenhouse.

Tripasai Architect

Tripasai-ArchitectPegboards has a new function for me now after seeing this embroidered wall decor created by multi-disciplinary design studio, Tripasai Architect.  The wall is a series of tiny dots embroidered with colorful cotton yarn in rhomboidal shapes transforming into leaves and flowers. The walls enhance the entry lobby of a Bangkok private residence.

Ironomori

IronomoriDon’t be surprised if I do repeat postings on this Japanese brand, Ironomori. Really liking their embroidered pins and earrings. Since the last posting on our old blog site, they have created another style that combines original illustration and embroidery. You can follow them on Facebook and purchase their collection on Japanese handmade market sites, Creema, Iichi and Minne.
