Klastyling

Whenever we travel to Japan we always bring back a few of these Pochi Bukuro, small envelopes to enclose a token of your gratitude. They come in a wide variety of designs including traditional, seasonal and contemporary. We found these modern designs at Japanese site, Klastyling. We love the simplicity of the designs and felt that this would be a wonderful weekend project. Complete instructions in Japanese can be found here.

One Darnley Road

OneDarnleyRoadLoving the package design for London Fields Soap Company created by East London creative
design agency, One Darnley Road. Probably best to let this creative studio tell you about themselves and about the design process for this project:

“We believe that a good concept becomes great design through inspiration, analysis and experimentation, and we take a hands-on approach to creating effective and beautiful products with a high level of finishing.”

“Launching as an artisan brand in east London, this new company wanted an identity that complimented their handmade, organic and beautiful products. The brand’s ambition is to “bring back the bar”, with soaps that are good for the skin and the environment. For their branding we looked to clean, graphic Art-Deco textile patterns that reflect both a history of craft and a modern sensibility.”

Knoop

KnoopWe’ve featured this stationery brand last year on our old blog but we like it so much that we feel Knoop deserves a repeat. This minimalist line of paper goods is sold under the brand, Knoop. The unisex paper items include wrapping paper, tags, gift bags and letter sets.  We love the simple graphics and the natural color palette. You can find them here at the Japanese handmade online shops, Iichi and Minne.
