Itotooshi


Found this on Base Mag., an  ecommerce business that list a variety of online shops. These incredible thread art is featured in the shop called Itotooshi.  The creator weaves silk yarn on paper using straight lines to create these patterns.

Moshik Nadav Typography


Brooklyn-based Moshik Nadav creates sophisticated type for fashion and luxury brands.  Born and raised in Israel he relocated to Brooklyn, New York and established his studio, Moshik Nadav Typography specializing in high-end logotype and custom typography.  On Creative Pro he has this advice for students of typography and design:

“Get yourself a comfy chair because you are about to spend most of your time on it. Be original, be unique. Show the world something new. Don’t try to be someone else. Don’t mimic your favorite designer. Invent your style and be good at it. Never stop learning even after you graduate.”

Leise Dich Abrahamsen


Copenhagen-based artist Leise Dich Aabrahamsen is a multi-disciplinary artist who works on visual arts, textiles, decorative objects and product design.  We found this quote from the artist on the website, AYTM: 

“As a multi-faceted artist, I find inspiration everywhere; glimpses of everyday life, language, sound, shapes, structure, movement, architecture, countryside, city, people, communication – it’s a large pot I keep boiling and tapping the essences from. I am also deeply passionate about colours and the endless possibilities they provide makes happy.”
