You have to look really closely to appreciate these amazing intricate work of art by Sydney-based paper artist, Gunjan Aylawadi. She hand cuts strips of paper and individually rolls them to create these extraordinary textural work. She writes on her website:

“What I enjoy most about making my work is the experience people have when they look at it. They stop for a moment to have a closer look and the moment turns into long minutes of being fascinated by the beauty a simple medium like paper can add to the work in front of their eyes.”

Found these hand embroidered accessories on Japanese handmade market site, Iichi. Doesn’t indicate the name of the artist but her products are sold under the brand name, a.m.  Really impressed by the embroidered details. You can follow her on her blog and see her items for sale here on Iichi.
