Loving these porcelain pieces created by Japanese ceramic designer and artist, Ryota Ishihara. The artist was born in Hasami Town where major ceramic potters are at work. He graduated from Arita High School Ceramic Department and continued his education at Halle University in Germany and Saga Arita Ceramic College. He worked for an interior goods company and in 2013 became independent as Pebble Ceramic Design Studio.
Turkish ceramic artist Aylin Bilgiç is known for her series of ceramic bowls that look like a splash of liquid frozen in time. Born in Istanbul she graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics and Glass. She continued her artistic studies in various workshops including VitrA Ceramic Art Workshop.
While we love her household porcelain products we prefer to feature her whimsical hand-sculpted ceramic characters. She created three series:Â The Vacationers, Ordinary People and Summer Girls.Â
Time for cuteness in the form of these miniature ceramic sculptures by Danielle Pedersen. Her animal and nature inspired pieces are hand-sculpted and hand-painted in delightful patterns accentuated with gold. Her line of products include miniature ceramic sculptures, totems, trinket dishes, jewelry and small home goods. You can view more of her gallery of work on her website and on Instagram as well.
