Meloney Celliers

Meloney Celliers is a paper crafter living in South Devon, England. Paper quilling has been around for hundreds of years but has recently experienced a revival as artists discover its creative possibilities. Celliers adds a new dimension to quilling by combining minimal black line illustrations with a burst of bright colored papers rolled and coiled into floral shapes. Kanako Abe

Admiring these delicate cut paper art of San Francisco-based artist, Kanako Abe. Her paper cutouts are so fine that they look as though they were drawn by pen. The Sendai, Japan born talent describes herself as a katagami (craft of making paper stencils for dyeing textile) and paper-cut artist who tries to capture and explore everyday moments and thoughts.

Monocircus

Found these delicate accessory designs on the Japanese handmade market site Minne.  They are the creations of married couple artist Ling Shim Ee and architect Kazunori Takeishi. The wearable art objects are sold under the atelier name Monocircus and created with 3d printing technology. They chose this production method to produce complex designs and forms not possible to be achieve by hand. They were also able to work with a variety of materials such as nylon plastic, stainless steel and silver.
