Always on the lookout for a fun project and found these great quilted patchwork coasters. The front of the coasters has a patchwork design and the back utilizes a coordinating fabric. The edge appears to have a zig zag stitch. We have no information on the creator except that they are sold under the name, “Patchwork Store”. You can find them in the Japanese handmade markets, Iichi and Tetote-Market.

We’ve made a few banners (buntings) for some family gatherings but I’m thinking this might be my next DIY project. Found this design on the Japanese handmade site, Creema, and sold under the shop name, Ringolin. Pleased that the banner has both form and function with those great “hanging pockets” that can be filled with goodies.

I’m amazed by these dog beadwork sold on the Japanese handmade site, Iichi. They are sold under the brand name Ru-ukunomise. The phone mascots and pins measure about one inch square. The artist not only creates dog breeds but parakeet breeds as well.
