I’m amazed by these dog beadwork sold on the Japanese handmade site, Iichi. They are sold under the brand name Ru-ukunomise. The phone mascots and pins measure about one inch square. The artist not only creates dog breeds but parakeet breeds as well.

Intrigued by the works of award-winning ceramist, Katharine Morling, I’m particularly loving these black and white tableau staging of everyday objects hand built from clay, porcelain and black stain in her London studio.

Coral & Tusk is a Brooklyn based atelier founded in 2007 by textile designer, Stephanie Housley with her husband Chris Lacinak. Their embroidered products are inspired by a love of animal, travel and adventure. Wouldn’t mind collecting a few of those pocket dolls myself.
