Uttaporn Nimmalaikaew

UttapornNimmalaikaewThese stunning 3-dimensional paintings are the creations of Thai mix-media artist, Uttaporn Nimmalaikaew, who created this innovative multi-layered technique using canvas, tulle, thread and netting. The artist not only paints the canvas but also paints the layers of tulle and netting giving the painting a holographic effect. The haunting images of his family are based on the Buddhist philosophy of “dukkha” an understanding that the nature of life is suffering and impermanence. You can follow the artist here on Facebook.
