RainDance

RaindanceRight now umbrellas are the farthest things on our minds here in California. However, the print designs on these umbrellas are so unique that we had to share. RainDance is a London-based umbrella design company founded by Sujata Sagrani, who started the company because she couldn’t find an umbrella she liked in a country where the climate is predominantly rain. We’re anxious to see new designs from this recently established company.

SuTurno

SuTurnoLoving the patterns on these scarves created by print designers Julia Vergara and Javier Gutierrez Bavo. The Madrid-based designers sell them under the brand name, SuTurno. Besides creating their own brand they also design exclusive prints for a large number of international clients applying their art either to fashion collections or interiors. Be sure to visit their site as the patterns cannot be fully appreciated until you see how beautifully they drape over different parts of the body.  The scarves can  be purchased here at Big Cartel.

10P10C

10P10CFound these great bag accessory series called “hagi hagi” on Japanese online handmade site, Iichi. They are the creations of textile artisan Yoko Toyoda who studied the techniques of color paste printing and dyeing. The artist creates her fabric collage utilizing a combination of natural materials including dyed cloth and recycled cotton denim and linen. These pieces are sold under the brand, 10P10C, here on Iichi.
