Never tire of looking at Japanese cotton wash cloths called tenugui. There are a variety of uses for these fabrics but it’s the traditional and contemporary patterns to which we are drawn. Coveting some of these products from Japanese online shop and brand, Kyototo. The name represents the blending of the traditional and contemporary centers of Japan, Kyoto and Tokyo. Love the bold patterns created for the Japanese brand, Aogoromo. The parent company from Kyoto, Willbe Corporation, has successfully combined traditional indigo dyeing technique with modern sensibility. The company created eleven patterns using traditional icons such as Mt. Fuji, colored carp and cherry blossoms and used them on a
variety of consumer products.
