Birds’ Words

Bird'sWords2Revisiting one of our favorite Japanese ceramic brand, Birds’ Words, created by potter, Ito Toshie. They’ve added more amazing ceramic pieces, of course, but we’re really loving the graphics on their handkerchiefs, prints and stationery.

Makoto Oozu

ThePorcelainsLove the graphics on these ceramic items from Japanese brand, The Porcelains. They are the creations of Makoto Oozu, an independent cross stitch and pixel designer. He created simple cross stitch patterns of retro game icons and embellished these ceramic pieces as well as a variety of consumer items with these images. He has also produced 6 cross stitch pattern books some of which can be purchased in his Etsy store, The Mint House.

Chou Chou

ChouChouLampWe’re always on the lookout for handcrafted projects that we would like to try making. We love this cube garland lamp from Japanese online store, Chou Chou. We’ve seen these lamps made from origami papers but we prefer using fabric for the cubes. Chou Chou makes theirs from Liberty and vintage fabric.
