Elizabeth Cook

ElizabethCookLove the simplicity of these home furnishings created by UK-based textile artist, Elizabeth Cook. Each item is made from felted, recycled wool and reclaimed fabrics embellished by both machine and hand stitched techniques. She says this of her work:

“Ideas for my work come from observations of the natural world – leaves, pebbles and weathered objects and my interest in pre and post war British artists and designers. Inspiration stems from my sketchbooks as well as my ever-growing collection of found objects.”

You and Tie by 0810

YouandTie
Found these fun bow ties on Japanese handmade site, Minne. Function is very unisex as the ties can be taken apart and used as a pin to attach to your hat or tote bag. The unnamed designer sells the ties under the brand, You and Tie by 0810, and can be followed here on Twitter.
