We are always on the lookout for crochet projects and found these great snowflake wall decor on Etsy. They are the creations of Lithuania-based couple, Audruis and Virginija and sold under the brand name, Woodstorming. They are known for their handmade wood creations of ring boxes, office accessories and home decorations but our eyes gravitated towards their crochet and wood hangings.

You can follow the couple on Facebook and Instagram. Their items can be purchased on Etsy and Big Cartel.

Tatsuro Kiuchi

Tatsuro Kiuchi is a Tokyo-based illustrator and artist who has created imagery for a wide array of publications. His illustrations have an old school and hand work look about them but much of it is produced digitally on Photoshop. He creates thumbnail sketches in his sketchbook and when ready he draws and paint on the screen using a Wacom tablet.  His beautiful work shows subtle layering, elegant colors and grainy textures.

You can find the artist on his website, Facebook, Behance and Instagram. Prints of his work are available at Society 6.

Suzanne Sullivan

Suzanne Sullivan is an Oregon-born ceramist now living and working in Brooklyn where she creates textile, jewelry, pottery, and ceramics. We love her ceramic pieces with its rough surfaces and contrasting geometric patterns. On The Star Whisperer she relates this about herself:

“I like the idea of the artist as a kind of design factory, prepared to tackle all kinds of issues, whether they be extraordinary or mundane.”

“I like the things in our every day world that are not mass-produced, things that have fingerprints on them. At home, I collect twigs and sticks and nests, special rocks, pieces of small nothings from the natural world, and a lot of times, my ceramics become vessels for these things.”

You can follow the artist on Facebook and view more of her work on Instagram.
